Why must we have a clear understanding of who we are in Christ? How does that come into practice in our lives? Here’s a link to the Spiritual Gifts Test mentioned in this lesson.

Hey everyone! Our Romans lesson will be released on Tuesday this week. I found out on Friday that a woman who works with my wife has a 13 yr. old daughter named Kaitlyn who was just recently diagnosed with cancer. Apparently she has two very aggressive types of leukemia, and she only has about a 5% chance of making it past the next couple of months. The family doesn’t have a church and doesn’t have a pastor to consult with or pray with. I’m heartbroken, and the Lord has laid it heavily on my heart to go down to Little Rock to visit with her in the hospital. I don’t know a lot of details, but I do know that she’s asking some very difficult questions about God right now, as is her mom (the woman who works with my wife). I am going to be down there on Monday and will update all of you in the lesson on Tuesday. Please pray that the Lord would be preparing her ears and her heart to hear and receive the Gospel message tomorrow (Monday). Please pray also that I will have the wisdom and discernment to present the Gospel to her in a way that will stir her young heart.

In this sermon from New Creation Community Church (http://www.NC3.tv), Toby talks about how and why we should study the Bible.

In this prelude to the Deconstructing the Deconstructors series, we’ll look at how the “implosion” technique works, and how to identify a self-defeating statement.

If the unsaved can’t perceive spiritual truths, how does anyone ever get saved?  Does the believer have any part in their salvation?

Sorry guys and girls, but the John podcast will not be posted this week.  My beloved sister is getting married so I am out of this world busy between work, school, and the wedding.  But fear not, for our John podcast will return soon and we will finally see what happens when dead men rise!  Thanks and if you have any questions or comments, drop me a line at biblestudypodcastsjustin@gmail.com.  Thanks!!

Hey everyone! I apologize for the late notice, but there won’t be a Romans lesson this week. Today, I’m taking my wife up to Raleigh to take her state board exam for cosmetology. It’s about a 3 hour drive each way. I’m thinking that with gas prices the way they are, they’re eventually going to have to do something different…making people drive 180 miles with gas prices now topping $4/gallon just seems somewhat unreasonable. I’m entitled to my opinion, even if – in cases like these – it doesn’t mean much (ha!). Be sure to have a listen to the Q & A lesson I put up on Saturday! As always, email me if you have questions :)
