I'd encourage you to start with Baker's Encyclopedia of Christian Apologetics by Norman Geisler...or "I Don't Have Enough Faith to be an Atheist" by Frank Turek and Geisler. These are both on the recommended reading list. If you REALLY want to go deep with it, check out William F. Albright's "Archaeology of Palestine" or F.F.
